You know what you need to do. You know why you need to do it. You even know what steps you must take to get it done. But there’s one small problem: you can’t seem to get moving. It’s a common problem.
Maybe it’s chronic procrastination or maybe you’re just so overwhelmed that you feel paralyzed. Either way, the task you must complete is just sitting there, gathering metaphorical (or perhaps literal) dust, and growing more ominous by the day.

As you now may know .........oday we reveal the devastating cuts that will hit almost every council service in Manchester. In what are described by town hall leader Sir Richard Leese as ‘the worst cuts since the war’, dozens of youth centres, libraries, nurseries, swimming pools and leisure centres will close.
Bin collections will go fortnightly, housing for more than 300 vulnerable families will be scrapped and council childcare costs will be hiked by more than quarter. Car parking prices will rocket and motorists will have to pay to park in Manchester on Sundays for the first time.
All overnight street cleaning will be axed and all public toilets will be closed – except for one.

Alexandra Park Regeneration Project
g developments in the Park. Having had success in June 2010 with our Round One application, Manchester Council is now gearing up to submit a Round Two bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) Parks for People programme. This is for £2 million to help restore the Park to its original Victorian glory while ensuring it offers a range of activities fit for a 21st century green space.
Applications have also been made to Sport England and other sports bodies which focus on transforming the sports facilities in the Park. See more in Sport.

Supporting Meisha
After another powerhouse performance, Misha Bryan deserved to be told she is the one credible act shoring up a shaky line-up of second rate singers.Instead she found herself accused of being ‘mean’ by third rate judge Tulisa Contostavlos in an outrageous attack on Saturday night’s X Factor.
Backed up by Louis Walsh, who really should retire from this lark, the two ‘judges’ claimed that Misha is too ‘feisty’ too ‘confident’ with Louis heaping on the slurs by suggesting she had bullied one of his contestants – although he apologised for using the ‘b’ word on last night’s show. "I shouldn’t have used that word," he said.
According to reports it was one of his over 25s’ weak links – Sami, the Welsh warbler – who was aggrieved because Misha supposedly said she wasn’t final four material.
Funny that, but this must be what Louis thought too as he didn’t pick Sami for his final four – preferring wacky Goldie Cheung until she headed for the hills allowing first reserve Sami in, though not for long as she was sent packing last night.
And what of the other faceless complainants – all trailing behind Misha in the talent stakes?
They claim the 19-year-old student from Longsight is ‘too competitive’
Hello? This is the most sought after talent show prize in Britain.
